Bright remodelled kitchen with island and custom cabinetry

Kitchen remodeling
done as one job.

Layout, cabinetry, stone, plumbing, electrical and lighting handled as a single package — so the trades stop blaming each other.

The approach

Most kitchen problems
are coordination problems.

A kitchen is the densest room in a house. Structure, plumbing, gas, electrical, ventilation, cabinetry, stone, tile and lighting all have to land within millimetres of each other, in a sequence where each trade depends on the last one being right.

When those trades are hired separately, the gaps between them become your problem. The cabinet installer blames the framer, the stone template arrives before the appliances are confirmed, and the pendant lights end up off-centre over an island that moved two inches.

We run the whole thing under one licence. Selections are locked before demolition, the layout is set out on the floor before anything is ordered, and one person carries responsibility from tear-out through to the final silicone line.

What is included

Everything this
work involves.

One licence covers all of it. You are not appointing six separate trades and refereeing between them.

Layout and space planning

Working the plan around how you actually cook, including clearances, appliance swing and the walk pattern between sink, hob and fridge.

Cabinetry

Custom and semi-custom cabinetry, scribed and levelled properly — the difference between a kitchen that looks fitted and one that looks placed.

Stone and worktops

Templating after cabinets are set, not before, so reveals and overhangs are right and the seams land where they should.

Plumbing and gas

Relocated waste and supply, filtered water, pot fillers and gas runs, all inspected and signed off.

Electrical and lighting

Circuits for modern appliance loads, plus task, feature and under-cabinet lighting planned with the layout rather than after it.

Tile, flooring and paint

Backsplash setting-out that centres on what the eye actually reads, continuous flooring, and a proper paint finish.

How it runs

Four stages,
no surprises.

You will always know which stage you are in and what happens next.

01

Design and selections

Layout agreed, appliances confirmed, and cabinetry, stone, tile and fixtures selected — before a single cabinet is ordered.

02

Tear-out and rough trades

Careful demolition, then plumbing, gas and electrical moved to suit the new plan and inspected.

03

Cabinets, stone and tile

Cabinetry set and levelled, stone templated and installed, backsplash set out to read correctly.

04

Finish and handover

Lighting, fixtures, paint, appliance install, then a walkthrough where you list anything that is not right.

Questions

Straight answers.

A straightforward remodel in the existing footprint usually runs six to ten weeks on site. Moving walls, relocating plumbing or waiting on custom cabinetry extends that. The single biggest cause of delay is selections that are still undecided after demolition has started.

Almost always, yes. We seal the work area, protect the routes through the house, and most clients set up a temporary kitchen elsewhere. We will tell you which weeks are the disruptive ones.

Either. Many clients prefer us to supply and coordinate cabinetry because it puts lead times and any manufacturing faults on us rather than on you. If you have already chosen a supplier, we will work with them.

If you are moving plumbing, gas or electrical, or altering structure, then yes. Cosmetic replacement in the same footprint often does not. We will tell you which category your project falls into and handle the submission if it is needed.

Under-specifying lighting and power. Cabinets and stone get all the attention, but the thing people notice daily is whether the worktop is properly lit and whether there are enough outlets where they actually work.
